Maria Clinkscales — Benefits Analyst/Consultant, Group Benefits Maria Clinkscales became a team member of Wischmeyer Benefit Partners in February 2001 as part of the Group Benefits department. Maria holds a State of Texas Group I Life and Health Solicitor’s License and handles a wide range of services by working as a liaison between insurance carriers, providers and group clients. Maria’s primary responsibilities as a benefits consultant include: claims dispute resolution and appeals, consultation involving insurance and employment regulations, and when needed, compiling presentations and assisting with the enrollment process. She provides guidance with issues involving Consolidation Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), State Continuation, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other insurance–related laws and regulations. Maria works diligently to provide client–favored resolutions and offers referral information to those requesting individual medical insurance. Additionally, she oversees service of the individual medical accounts already produced through Wischmeyer Benefit Partners. Maria attended Texas Tech University and the University of Texas at Dallas studying education and interdisciplinary studies. Residing in Garland, Texas, Maria and her family enjoy camping, swimming, soccer and other outdoor–related activities. |
