Monica Wischmeyer — Controller Monica Wischmeyer began working at Wischmeyer Benefit Partners as the company’s controller in August 2004. Monica is primarily responsible for accounts receivable and payable. Additionally, she manages the finances and licensing requirements. Monica’s constant interaction with the payroll department and accounting management, are vital to Wischmeyer Benefit Partners’ everyday operations. Before arriving at Wischmeyer Benefit Partners, Monica performed speech therapy work with the Richardson Independent School District in Richardson, TX. Here, she worked as a bilingual speech and language pathologist assisting in evaluations of special education children. Monica was born and reared in Mexico and attended a Swiss school in Mexico City. In 1988, she moved to Dallas where she finished her degree in speech pathology in 1990. She received her master’s in communication disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1992. Monica and her husband, Mark, principal of Wischmeyer Benefit Partners, reside in Dallas with their three children. In her spare time, Monica enjoys volunteering at her children’s school. |
